Youth
We’re a community that really cares about three things: Jesus, the Bible and each other. St Matt's Youth is divided into SOLID ROCK and COMMON GROUND. Both groups meet on Friday nights, Sundays and for their own camp during the year.
SOLID ROCK is our junior youth group for years 7-9. It’s active and engaging, full of fun, friends, and food.
COMMON GROUND, our senior youth group for Years 10-12, is intelligent without being intellectual, mature without being old.
FRIDAY NIGHTS
The evening begins at 6:30pm with games and hang-out time where everyone from years 7 to 12 has the opportunity to chat together or chuck a ball around. The junior and senior groups then split for dinner and the remainder of the night.
The highlight of the evening is a chance to read, study and think about a passage of the Bible together, and then pray.
We wrap up around 8:30pm. $10 per child or $15 per household to cover the cost of dinner would be enormously helpful. You can pay for the whole term at once. Electronic payment greatly preferred.

SUNDAYS
St Matt’s Youth meet again on Sundays for Bible studies during the St Matthew’s church gatherings. Bible studies are a great way to get to know Jesus and each other better.
SOLID ROCK meets at St Matthew's during our Sunday gatherings at 9am and 11am, and COMMON GROUND at 4:30pm in homes around Shenton Park, where we have some dinner, then head to the 6:30pm gathering at St Matthew’s.
